How to prepare OptiFeed Plus Stage 2 Infant Formula:
- Before preparing the formula, wash your hands thoroughly. Sterilize all utensils by boiling them in water for 5 minutes.
- In separate pan, heat drinking water for 5 minutes and allow it to cool until lukewarm. To make up the formula, the water must be lukewarm (around 40-45°C) before the powder is added.
- Fill the measuring scoop supplied in the tin with powder.
- Pour the required amount of lukewarm boiled water into the sterilized utensil.
- Add the corresponding number of level scoopfuls of powder to the water, as per suggested feeding table.
- Mix powder until completely dissolved.
- Test the temperature on your wrist, it should feel just warm but cool is better than too hot. Feed immediately. Discard any unfinished formula.
